Rina Kim (b. 1995, Los Angeles) is a painter based in Brooklyn, NY. She received a B.A in Studio Art and Theater at Mount Holyoke College. She then completed her atelier painting training at Angel Academy of Art in Florence, Italy. Upon moving to New York in 2021, she continued studying with Leonid Gervits at the Art Students League while completing her MFA in painting at the New York Academy of Art, from which she graduated in 2025 . She has exhibited in group shows in Venice, Siena, Florence, San Francisco, and New York. Rina’s current work explores sentimentality, consumerism, and environmentalism through still life paintings of discarded objects.
